I was wandering by the big yard at Homeward Bound and noticed Lori playing with her dogs, Peyton and Jethro. You might recall from a previous blog that my Scrappy is hopelessly infatuated with Lori. It took just a few minutes to see that Peyton and Jethro adore her as well.
Peyton was more than a little camera shy so let’s get to know Jethro today. He’s adorable, of course.
He’s also a well balanced dog that makes time to sniff the flowers.
Jethro is also a ball dog with an athletic side that may surprise some.
But Jethro has a special message about trust. He says that sometimes you just have to take a leap and put your faith in people. So Jethro routinely participates in the canine equivalent of that trust exercise in which people fall backward confident that their team will catch them.
Thank you Rob!! That is my daughter and her two amazing fur balls..my grandchildren!! So love what you did with Payton and Jethro

I love the photos of this clearly happy dog! That tongue hanging out of his mouth while doing the ‘trust exercise’ just cracks me up and attests to his real trust in Lori! He’s beautiful and so is Peyton! I’m so glad you caught those peek-a-boo photos of him 🙂 Thanks, Rob!

She certainly is. We are fortunate to have many, many such volunteers at HB. Perhaps we should more posts of volunteers with their dogs.
