Danny came over from China with several other dogs somewhen about the end of 2019, if memory serves. I was fortunate to be able to spend lots of time with him for a couple weeks after he arrived. He had perfected the “I adore you” gaze before he arrived, and I admit to being beguiled by his charms. Later I discovered that he shares that gaze with everyone. Even so, I would have taken him home had I been able to.

Danny was born in China. We take in some Golden Retrievers from China that need homes.

I miss that boy and that gaze of his. I am so hopeful all works with his new family. He is so deserving.

He is that. And yesterday he went home on a trial basis. Danny has had seizures and he went home with another dog that has seizures. The people want to make sure that the situation doesn’t aggravate the seizures of either dog.
