Rest in Peace, Wrigley

I’ve started a post about Wrigley many time in the last week. And deleted every one of them. I finally decided to not write anything about Wrigley’s story except to acknowledge his passing and how difficult it was for so many people. I don’t have the skills to do more.

Beautiful photos Rob, he crossed over knowing love and compassion. What you did matters, will always matter.

You, all at HB, and Wrigley’s families gave him so much love and support- he was such an amazing boy. I am very sorry for the loss of him. Thank you so much for sharing these photos ❤️

I’m sorry for your loss, Rob. Yeah, it’s hard to talk – even about very special dogs – when grief hits. ((hugs)) The wonderful thing is that you share the dogs with us when they are alive so that they live on in our hearts and memories. Thank you for all that you do! ❤

  4. I am so very sorry. It is never easy to lose a friend and it is never easy to sum up a life. I lost my little girl of 14 years three years ago and although I love Benji – I still miss her. It must be harder for you with so many dogs passing through your care.

    1. It works out though in the end. There are also many more opportunities for joy.
