Peak-a-Boo Peyton
Yesterday you met Lori’s dog, Jethro. Peyton was in some of the shots, lurking in the background. She was more than a little camera shy and decided to play peek-a-boo with me but I finally got one shot with her looking into the camera.

Dogs at Play
Photographing dogs at play can be a most excellent treat for a photographer. You get to capture interesting expressions and attitudes. But you have to expect fewer keepers and be willing to move quickly. Some dogs surprise you. I’ve written about Yule, a dog many volunteers never expected to be able to play nicely with other dogs. He’s a handsome, high energy boy that loves to play. Better get some extra sleep so I have enough energy to keep up with him!

Scrappy asked me if I would take his picture this afternoon in the Homeward Bound Memorial Garden. Seemed suspicious but I obliged him. When we finished I went back in the Homeward Bound office for a short time and returned to find him with … Lori! He must have set up a date. I hid in the bushes and tried to take the best shots I could. There they were all…
