Tucker returns
Tucker unexpectedly came back today. Then later I thought for a while that he was going back to his people. But ended up staying with me — at least for the next 2 weeks. There’s a smallish story behind all that but I’ll save it for another day. I was glad to see him again. It was a little late in the day to be taking photos by the time I got to these so I knew the image quality would be affected. But it’s still Tucker.
Longest ears?
Red was an adult, feral dog that came to us from Oregon. He has made great strides in relating to humans over the last few years thanks to Tatia and many other volunteers. When I look at him I always wonder if he holds the record for longest ears on a Golden Retriever.

Wilson
Wilson is the latest arrival to my home. I actually moved him into the house right away. I had little choice given that my 2 kennels are already occupied. The challenge is that Wilson, sweet as he may be, is still a puppy at 11 months. He was surrendered because his humans did not have enough time for him. We’re happy that they gave him up now instead of waiting another year or two. I don’t do puppies so I can’t say where he should be at 11 months behavior-wise. I just know he still has to be watched every…
